Senior Director, Talent Acquisition

Location: Brooklyn, NY, USA; candidates must be within commuting distance of the current Brooklyn office and planned Manhattan office. The office is planned to relocate to Manhattan in Summer 2027.

Salary: $250,000–$300,000 annual base salary, plus potential equity grants and discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Partner with the Chief People Officer, People Team, and business leaders to make talent acquisition a strategic driver of growth.
• Lead and mentor the existing recruiting team as a hands-on player-coach.
• Shape and execute a global talent acquisition strategy for a high-growth, complex technology organization.
• Own executive search and end-to-end recruitment for critical roles, working with external search partners when needed.
• Support workforce planning, department-specific hiring strategies, and scalable talent pipelines.
• Improve the recruiting lifecycle through employer branding, sourcing, data, metrics, AI-powered tools, automation, and inclusive processes.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in talent acquisition, including 4+ years leading and developing recruiting teams.
• Experience leading end-to-end talent acquisition strategy and operations in a high-growth technology environment.
• Experience building and leading high-performing global recruiting teams.
• Deep experience in full-lifecycle recruiting, executive search, and data-driven sourcing.
• Ability to partner strategically with senior stakeholders and use recruiting lifecycle insights to improve talent strategy.
• Must be within commuting distance of the Brooklyn and future Manhattan office locations.

Nice to have

• Experience in AI, fintech, data platforms, supply chain, or the public sector.
• Experience leading transformation involving AI-powered processes and automation.
