What you will do

  • Lead the design and development of mechanical systems, mechanisms, and components for aerospace applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and objectives.
  • Perform stress, fatigue, and kinematics analysis using modeling and simulation tools.
  • Oversee prototyping and testing, analyze results, and recommend design improvements.
  • Select materials and manufacturing processes, and work with suppliers to ensure production quality.
  • Document designs, test results, and performance data while mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in mechanisms engineering, preferably in aerospace or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks or CATIA and simulation tools.
  • Experience with FEA analysis and simulation software.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

  • Project management experience.
  • Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
