TL;DR
Industrial Engineer II (Medical Devices): Analyzing and improving manufacturing processes for stents, catheters, and other medical devices with an accent on productivity, capacity, quality, and operational performance. Focus on leading continuous improvement projects, conducting cycle time and work analysis, optimizing production layouts, and applying Lean manufacturing methodologies.
Location: Onsite in Plymouth, Minnesota, United States; minimum 5 days per week onsite.
Salary: $80,800–$121,200 per year, plus eligibility for the Incentive Plan.

What you will do
- Analyze manufacturing processes, workflows, and production systems to improve efficiency, throughput, and resource utilization.
- Lead or support continuous improvement projects targeting productivity, quality, capacity, and cost reduction.
- Conduct cycle time studies, work analysis, and process evaluations to establish baselines and identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop and optimize production layouts, operating methods, workflow sequences, and operational plans.
- Analyze performance data and metrics, support inventory and production record systems, and sustain measurable improvements.
- Partner with Manufacturing and Quality teams to implement Lean tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, operations excellence, or continuous improvement experience, or a relevant master’s degree.
- Experience analyzing manufacturing processes, workflows, or production systems using data-driven problem-solving methods.
- Experience supporting or leading process improvement, operational excellence, or productivity initiatives.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at hiring and throughout employment; sponsorship is not available for roles below Principal level.
- Foreign bachelor’s degrees must satisfy the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).
Nice to have
- Experience with Lean manufacturing, capacity modeling, production planning, resource utilization, cycle time studies, or work measurement.
- Experience with OEE, SPC, digital dashboards, or tier management systems.
- Experience presenting data, recommendations, and project outcomes to cross-functional stakeholders.
