Industrial Engineer V - (E5) (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; travel required up to 25% of the time; relocation eligible

Salary: $154,000–$212,000 per year

What you will do

• Structure complex business problems, develop hypotheses, and deliver data-driven recommendations.
• Analyze large datasets to identify insights, opportunities, and operational improvements.
• Prepare recommendations and deliverables for executive-level audiences and support strategy discussions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Optimize business processes to reduce cycle time and generate measurable cost savings.
• Apply program management discipline to keep initiatives within scope, schedule, and expected impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or an equivalent field.
• 10–15 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry or consulting.
• Expert-level knowledge of SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI; Python and Applied Smart Factory APF are additional advantages.
• Experience working across cross-functional business teams and in a matrix environment, with the ability to influence without authority.
• Knowledge of service business management, product development, financial reporting, and executive-level communication.
• Working knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methods, including DMAIC and Kaizen; Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred.

Nice to have

• Management consulting or internal consulting experience.
• MBA or master’s degree in engineering, or equivalent business experience.
• Semiconductor industry experience.
• Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
