Senior Software QA Engineer (Functional/Embedded QA) (Robotics and AI): Validating integrated software workflows across real-time orchestration, robotics, APIs, services, and edge systems with an accent on functional, integration, regression, and user workflow testing. Focus on testing simulation and hardware-in-the-loop environments, diagnosing cross-layer defects, validating latency and resiliency under load, and improving automation and release readiness.

What you will do
- Lead test planning, scope management, risk assessment, and test-result reporting.
- Design and execute integration, functional, user workflow, and regression tests.
- Validate software in simulation, virtualization, and integrated system environments.
- Detect, triage, and track defects across software, services, APIs, and test infrastructure.
- Validate API contracts, data flows, latency, resiliency, and system behavior under load.
- Partner with engineering, automation, and product teams while mentoring peers and improving test strategy, tooling, and release readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least five years of experience in software QA, systems validation, or integration testing.
- Hands-on experience with integration and functional testing in distributed systems.
- Experience testing and debugging APIs, messaging systems, or asynchronous architectures.
- Experience with simulation, emulation, or hardware-in-the-loop testing.
- Scripting experience for validation automation or coverage expansion using C#, Python, or Bash.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks and continuous integration.
- Experience with Linux, Ansible, Kubernetes, microservices, or test playbooks.
- Exposure to cloud-based architectures and hybrid-system testing.
- Knowledge of Kafka, SQL, RabbitMQ, or similar data-processing and persistence technologies.
- Experience mentoring others or driving testing best practices across teams.
