Quality Assurance Tester II

Location: Remote with periodic onsite support and occasional travel; US-based clearance eligibility is required

What you will do

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and support automated testing frameworks.
• Validate requirements, acceptance criteria, and traceability for software solutions.
• Document defects, verify resolutions, and maintain test metrics, reports, and documentation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, DevSecOps activities, release readiness, and deployment validation.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in software testing, quality assurance, application testing, systems testing, or software validation.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• CompTIA Network+ or a qualifying degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering.
• Qualifying higher-level cybersecurity certifications may replace CompTIA Network+, including Security+, CEH, CFR, GSEC, PenTest+, or SSCP.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Successful completion of a drug and background check is required.

Nice to have

• ISTQB certification and experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, JMeter, or SoapUI.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, GitLab, API testing, and cloud-based application validation.
• Experience supporting Agile software teams, CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and enterprise applications.
