Software QA Engineer III (Automation)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, suites, and scripts for web services, APIs, and backend applications.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle to improve testability and embed quality practices.
• Support Test Driven Development and Behavior Driven Development practices.
• Integrate automated, performance, security, and service virtualization testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze application, system, and database performance, identify quality risks, execute regression testing, and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate testing activities with stakeholders, developers, business teams, and test analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in software testing, automation engineering, software development, or quality assurance.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks with Java, C#, Python, Groovy, or similar programming languages.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, TDD, and BDD.
• Experience with API testing, CI/CD tools, test automation platforms, performance testing, security testing, and test management solutions.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and drive continuous quality improvements.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• At least 6 years of experience developing automated testing strategies across multiple environments and technology stacks.
• Experience with service virtualization, cloud-based testing environments, and enterprise-scale payment or financial systems.
