Systems Engineering Lead (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Build, lead, and grow the Systems Engineering team while ensuring delivery of key product milestones.
• Define and execute the systems engineering strategy in alignment with product and company goals.
• Own the overall UAV system design across software, hardware, and mechanics.
• Drive system architecture, requirements traceability, and integration across all platform components.
• Lead system-level testing and validation against aviation certification requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and coach, mentor, and develop engineers.

Requirements

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or a comparable field.
• 10+ years of systems engineering experience, including leadership in complex, safety-critical environments.
• Experience as a Systems Lead, Chief Engineer, or in a comparable role with end-to-end system responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering processes such as INCOSE and ISO 15288.
• Experience with aviation certification standards such as ARP4754A and safety methods including FHA and DFMEA.
• Expertise in system architecture, requirements engineering, traceability, MBSE, and system-level verification and validation.
