Systems Engineering Manager Space System Studies

What you will do

• Analyse external and internal system needs, mission needs, and customer requirements.
• Define information and data exchanges within the system and with external systems based on NATO standards.
• Develop and negotiate data dissemination solutions involving ground-based radars, missile defence systems, and civil systems.
• Define architecture options and perform trade studies for ground and space system elements.
• Specify the selected solution using a model-based systems engineering approach and implement possible solutions in a software demonstrator.
• Write the interface control document and collaborate with international experts from OHB and project partners.

Requirements

• Diploma or Master's degree in aerospace engineering, electronics, software development, or an equivalent field.
• Several years of professional experience in defence and security systems engineering projects are preferred.
• Experience with data exchange for active or passive missile defence systems is preferred.
• Experience with applicable NATO standards and processes; MBSE experience is preferred.
• Strong self-organization, work planning, communication, presentation, documentation, and multicultural teamwork skills.
• Ability and willingness to obtain German security clearance; fluency in spoken and written English required.
