Systems Engineering Manager Space System Studies (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Analyse internal and external system needs, mission needs, and customer requirements.
• Define data and information exchange within the system and with external systems based on NATO standards.
• Develop and negotiate data-dissemination solutions with other companies and project partners.
• Define architecture options and perform trade studies for ground and space system elements.
• Specify the selected solution using a model-based systems engineering approach and implement possible solutions in a software demonstrator.
• Write the interface control document for the selected solution and work with an international team of experts.

Requirements

• Diploma or Master's degree in aerospace engineering, electronics, software development, or an equivalent qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in defence and security systems engineering projects are preferred.
• Experience with data exchange for active or passive missile defence systems is preferred.
• Experience with applicable NATO standards and processes.
• Ability and willingness to achieve a German security clearance.
• Fluency in spoken and written English, with strong communication, presentation, documentation, planning, and multicultural teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with model-based systems engineering.
