General Counsel

What you will do

• Lead the legal function and set the company’s legal strategy while managing legal risks.
• Advise executives and management on contractual, regulatory, compliance, financial, and legal matters.
• Structure, review, negotiate, and close commercial agreements, including service, sales, lease, vendor, and supply contracts.
• Support employment matters, corporate governance, board materials, due diligence, corporate records, and entity management.
• Develop and execute the IP strategy, coordinating external counsel where appropriate.
• Build scalable contract procedures, templates, workflows, and broader legal infrastructure.

Requirements

• UK or US qualified; bar admission is not required.
• Proven experience structuring, negotiating, and closing complex technology and commercial transactions.
• Strong judgment and confidence to make decisions independently and set direction.
• Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to engineers, executives, and commercial teams.
• Technology-sector experience, particularly in hardware, data centers, AI, or other mission-critical industries.

Nice to have

• US commercial law experience.
• Leading law firm background or in-house experience at a top-tier technology company.
• Science background or IP experience.
