Legal Counsel (Legal AI)

What you will do

• Provide pragmatic legal support for customer and vendor agreements, including MSAs, order forms, DPAs, and NDAs.
• Balance legal risk with commercial priorities and partner with Sales and GTM teams during active deal cycles.
• Use AI tools to draft, review, and negotiate contracts efficiently.
• Build templates, playbooks, and self-serve workflows that scale legal output and reduce contracting friction.
• Act as an internal user of hirify.global by testing the product through real legal work and feeding structured insights to Product, Legal Engineering, and R&D.
• Analyze contract data and advise on privacy, data protection, SaaS contracting, GDPR, and AI regulation.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales or Scotland with approximately 2–4 years’ PQE.
• Strong grounding in B2B SaaS agreements and commercial contracting.
• Experience working closely with sales teams or other commercial stakeholders.
• Practical understanding of privacy and data protection.
• Ability to explain legal concepts clearly and make sound decisions in a fast-moving environment.
• Interest in AI, legal technology, and improving legal operations.
