TL;DR
Senior Manager, Engineering (Agentic AI): Leading cross-functional Agile teams that enhance a high-performance, cloud-based SaaS web application with an accent on technical leadership, talent development, and reliable delivery. Focus on designing governed multi-agent systems, establishing evaluation and auditability frameworks, and solving scalability and production-readiness challenges across complex cloud environments.
Location: Bengaluru, India; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the office for candidates within reasonable commuting distance

What you will do
- Lead software engineers in cross-functional Agile teams delivering high-quality functionality for clients.
- Define team and project vision, improve workflows, and lead organizational and process changes.
- Provide technical leadership, contribute to design and code reviews, and support hands-on engineering work.
- Partner with Product, Program Management, technical stakeholders, and architects to define requirements and deliver projects on time.
- Mentor team members, set goals, address personnel matters, and support professional growth.
- Manage team budgets, resources, project communications, presentations, and administrative activities.
Requirements
- 13+ years of overall experience and 8+ years of relevant experience in the field.
- Strong communication and people-management skills, with experience in mentoring and talent development.
- Knowledge of build, deployment, continuous integration, full SDLC, Agile, TDD, QA, automation, regression, and smoke testing practices.
- Hands-on experience with an OOP-based language such as C#, Java, or Python, modern databases, and web-based SaaS applications.
- Experience solving scalability and performance challenges in large-scale, cloud-based systems.
- Hands-on experience with Agentic AI and Generative AI, including multi-agent systems, orchestration, governance, HITL workflows, auditability, risk mitigation, and production evaluation frameworks.
Nice to have
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- Experience with Behavior-Driven Development.
