What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers through coaching, feedback, and career development.
• Drive reliable, high-quality delivery of product features and platform improvements.
• Own technical execution, system design, and architectural decisions for the team’s domain.
• Partner with Product, Design, Research, and other stakeholders to define and execute roadmaps.
• Build a culture of ownership, code quality, and operational excellence.
• Hire and onboard engineers while improving processes, tooling, and engineering practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 1 to 3+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and system design skills.
• Experience building and operating production systems at scale with modern backend technologies such as Python, Java, Kotlin, or Go.
• Ability to own projects end to end and deliver high-quality results.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong product mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-growth startups or engineering-first organizations.
• Exposure to frontend or full-stack development.
• Experience with developer platforms, SaaS products, or AI-driven systems.
• Prior ownership of highly available, customer-facing systems.
