Engineering Manager

Location: Mumbai, India — full-time onsite work with required office presence five days a week.

What you will do

• Architect and develop highly scalable, available, and reliable applications for critical business problems.
• Define engineering best practices and improve the product development lifecycle.
• Create system and product growth roadmaps and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Coordinate with designers, business analysts, and product managers in an Agile environment, providing delivery plans and estimates.
• Build career paths through mentoring, performance evaluations, and regular feedback.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in product-based companies; product startup experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of scalable web backend systems, streaming, full-stack development, production support, and performance troubleshooting.
• Deep understanding of architecture for highly scalable and highly available systems.
• Experience with highly transactional, large relational, and complex web or desktop systems.
• Experience hiring, developing, and scaling high-performing engineering teams and organizations.
• Strong leadership, communication, system design, and business-process skills.
