(Senior) Java Developer (m/f/x)

Location: Karlsruhe, Germany. Relocation support is provided for moving to Karlsruhe. The role is connected to the Karlsruhe office campus.

What you will do

• Design high-performing Java-based services within a complex system landscape.
• Conceptualize, design, and implement modern solutions based on Spring Boot.
• Contribute to the new technology stack while maintaining existing legacy systems.
• Accompany software projects from initial draft through production deployment.
• Document software architectures, transfer knowledge, and conduct code and design reviews.
• Coach and develop more junior team members in a collaborative, agile environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree and more than 6 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Java skills with experience using Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Strong database knowledge and SQL skills.
• Knowledge of virtualization and containerized applications, including Kubernetes or Docker.
• Experience with Git, Maven, and building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, plus basic Linux knowledge.
• Good English communication skills are required.
