UI Development Manager (Automotive Embedded)

What you will do

• Lead the configuration, development, and deployment of automotive embedded infotainment systems.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight for the UI development team.
• Break projects into manageable components, estimate work, and track delivery with project management counterparts.
• Research and propose solutions to software development challenges.
• Coordinate directly with clients on planning, assigning, executing, and delivering project work.
• Adopt and promote effective development processes and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience as a team leader.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including design, algorithms, and space/time complexity.
• Extensive experience designing systems that combine hardware, software, and multiple technologies.
• Strong engineering and program management experience in cross-functional development teams.
• Deep understanding of embedded systems and APIs, plus experience with software project management and Agile methodology.
• Bachelor’s degree in automotive, embedded software, mechanical, systems engineering, or computer science.

Nice to have

• Experience with embedded systems or automotive software.
• Web development experience.
• Proficiency in C#.
• Patents, papers, or products demonstrating innovation.
