Engineering Manager (AI)

What you will do

• Lead and manage a team of 3–8 engineers through sprint cycles and delivery milestones.
• Drive sprint planning and execution, including backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Prioritize engineering work based on business impact, technical debt, and resource constraints.
• Translate product and hardware requirements into clear engineering tasks and user stories.
• Remove blockers through standups, one-to-ones, and cross-team coordination while supporting team productivity.
• Partner with product and design teams to balance feature delivery with technical excellence, and track delivery metrics.

Requirements

• 2–6 years of experience in engineering management, ideally leading a team of 3–8 engineers at a technical or AI-driven company.
• Strong people management skills, including coaching, performance management, and team development.
• Excellent prioritization and project management abilities in fast-moving sprint environments.
• Experience with agile methodologies, sprint planning tools such as Jira or Linear, and engineering productivity metrics.
• Technical depth sufficient to participate in architectural discussions and code reviews.
• Ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining team focus and morale in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• Strong background in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
