Software Engineer (Backend)

Location: Remote in the United States

Salary: $180,000–$225,000 annual salary, plus equity.

What you will do

• Design, architect, and build the core product as part of the engineering team.
• Own outcomes end to end, including iteration, documentation, bug fixes, and ongoing product support.
• Collaborate with the product team to scope and define features aligned with company goals.
• Contribute to company culture and future hiring efforts.

Requirements

• 6+ years of backend development experience.
• Expertise in Python; Django experience is preferred.
• Strong record of building and delivering web applications, ideally from scratch.
• Understanding and adherence to modern software development practices, including Gitflow, continuous integration, and peer reviews.
• Experience with modern infrastructure such as Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, and CircleCI is preferred but not required.
