Salary: $190,000 – $230,000 base

What you will do

• Design, build, and launch new backend services and capabilities to improve application quality.
• Collaborate across disciplines to understand user needs and iterate on new product ideas.
• Implement secure coding practices to protect patient privacy and data security.
• Research and advocate for improved architectural techniques and processes within the team.
• Provide ongoing support for applications in the production environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of development experience focusing on backend and cloud-based solutions.
• Expertise in Python and experience with Postgres or similar relational databases.
• Proven experience building cloud-native distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Experience collaborating with data scientists to plan and iterate on deliverables.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in the health tech domain, particularly with hospital billing systems.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Airflow, Snowflake, and dbt.
• Experience with full-stack ownership and development using Javascript and React.
• Experience working within a rapid-growth scale-up technology company.
