Operations Manager (Aerospace)

hirify.global Systems is a technology company designing and operating a global constellation of smart weather balloons to provide critical atmospheric data and eliminate weather uncertainty.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end operational performance across a rotating set of projects.
• Coordinate the operational rollout of new hardware, including ocean buoys and ground stations.
• Identify and resolve recurring bugs affecting constellation-wide performance.
• Manage the constellation's response to meteorological events, including data gathering and visualization.
• Travel globally to carry out field operations, such as balloon recovery or temporary site setup.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and flight control teams to ensure mission success.

Requirements

• Must be based in Redwood Shores, CA (On-site role).
• Ability to write procedures and take ownership of tasks without waiting for instructions.
• Genuine curiosity about atmospheric science, radio, airspace, and defense technology.
• Strong communication skills to explain and build trust with customers regarding technical operations.
• Comfort with uncertainty, shifting priorities, and evolving hardware/procedures.
