Supplier Quality Engineer V (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Gloucester, MA, United States; travel required up to 20% of the time; relocation eligible.

Salary: $140,000–$192,500 per year, plus potential bonus and stock awards.

What you will do

• Develop and apply quality standards aligned with company and customer requirements.
• Design and implement inspection, testing, and evaluation methods for products and production equipment.
• Prepare inspection and testing documentation, project methodologies, and proposals.
• Analyze operational data, recommend corrective actions, and determine the disposition of non-compliant products.
• Track qualification status, review reliability test results, and release qualification packages.
• Participate in or lead audits while reducing qualification cycle time and cost.

Requirements

• Conceptual and practical expertise in the quality engineering discipline.
• Experience with root-cause analysis and corrective-action tools, including 5 Whys, Fishbone, Is-Is Not, process mapping, PFMEA, and DOE.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, industry standards, and sketches.
• Ability to solve complex problems using multiple sources of information and build consensus around sensitive or difficult topics.
• Ability to act as a resource for less experienced colleagues and lead small projects.
