Location: Devens, Massachusetts, United States

Annual base salary: $117,400–$161,500, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

  • Own quality engineering strategy and product lifecycle quality for designated aerospace and defense product lines.
  • Lead IQ/OQ/PQ process validations and verification activities for new product introductions and production line expansions.
  • Investigate complex product non-conformances, lead material review boards, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Deploy and monitor statistical process control frameworks, critical-to-quality metrics, metrology, and testing protocols.
  • Author, review, and approve quality documentation including DHFs, DMRs, and DHRs to maintain audit readiness.
  • Partner with manufacturing, process, and machine engineering teams on proactive quality controls and design-for-manufacturability initiatives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive quality engineering experience in a highly regulated advanced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong preference for aerospace and defense experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, materials science, or a related technical field preferred.
  • Expertise in First Article Inspection Reports, process capability studies, DFMEA, and PFMEA.
  • Experience working under AS9100 or ISO 13485 quality management systems.
  • Familiarity with metal alloys, metallurgy, precision machining, or metal additive manufacturing.

Nice to have

  • ASQ certification such as CQE or CRE.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
