Shipper/Receiver (Chemical Handling)

hirify.global, through Atotech Canada Ltd., supports shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations for materials and chemical products.

What you will do

• Receive, inspect, unload, and store inventory and non-inventory materials.
• Enter receipt, batch, quantity, and shipment information accurately in SAP.
• Pick products and prepare shipments in compliance with D.O.T. standards.
• Handle bulk chemicals, relabel materials, and complete required inspections.
• Prepare shipping paperwork and communicate material or product issues to Purchasing, Quality Control, Manufacturing, and management.
• Operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts, and maintain housekeeping standards.

Requirements

• Forklift driving license or substantial experience safely handling heavy loads.
• Clear and legible reading and writing skills.
• Ability to make responsible decisions and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform extended periods of sitting, standing, or typing.
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work safely around chemicals, fumes, confined spaces, heat, cold, and specialized industrial equipment.

Nice to have

• Experience with WHMIS, TDG, HAZMAT, or chemical handling.
