Facility Shipping Coordinator

Location: Onsite in Metairie, Louisiana, United States. Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM.

What you will do

• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities for customer, intercompany, military, and stock-transfer orders.
• Process Bills of Lading, Certificates of Analysis, labels, pick tickets, shipping packets, and compliance documentation.
• Manage SAP order entry, approvals, shipment confirmations, order closeout, and inventory movements.
• Schedule inbound and outbound deliveries, coordinate carriers and LTL pickups, and support production schedules.
• Check drivers in and out, verify load information, and distribute complete shipment documentation.
• Track shipment status, maintain operational reports and KPIs, and resolve scheduling, production, documentation, and transportation issues.

Requirements

• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or transportation coordination.
• Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for shipment tracking, reports, KPIs, and schedules.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams or a similar collaboration tool.
• Familiarity with SAP or another ERP system for order processing, shipping confirmation, inventory movements, and documentation.
• Ability to support DOT compliance and site safety requirements.
