Warehouse Supervisor - Floor Operations

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; regular presence on the warehouse floor required

Salary: CAD $86,080–$107,600 per year

What you will do

• Oversee receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, staging, loading, shipping, and inventory movement.
• Plan staffing, assign work, and adjust priorities to meet service levels, customer requirements, and shipping schedules.
• Monitor workflow, labor utilization, order status, equipment availability, and operational performance.
• Lead, coach, train, and provide performance feedback to warehouse leads and associates.
• Maintain safety, quality, inventory accuracy, and compliance with company procedures and applicable employment requirements.
• Identify and support process improvements that reduce errors, delays, rework, overtime, damage, and safety risks.

Requirements

• Experience supervising hourly employees in a warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse floor operations, including receiving, picking, staging, loading, shipping, and inventory movement.
• Leadership, coaching, communication, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office, warehouse or inventory systems, RF scanners, or similar tools.
• Ability to work the assigned shift and support overtime, weekends, holidays, or schedule changes.
• Comfort with regular warehouse-floor presence, standing, walking, bending, material-handling equipment, loading docks, trailers, racking, and warehouse traffic.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Warehouse Lead, Team Lead, Supervisor, or in a similar leadership role.
• Experience in a unionized environment.
• Familiarity with AS400 or similar warehouse, ERP, or inventory management systems.
• Experience using performance metrics for productivity, accuracy, safety, and service levels.
• Knowledge of warehouse health and safety practices and material-handling equipment.
