Senior R&D Project Manager

hirify.global's Cell and Biomolecular Analysis Division develops products involving software and hardware engineering teams.

What you will do

• Lead complex new product development and product enhancement projects from concept through commercialization.
• Develop integrated plans covering software, hardware, verification, regulatory, and commercialization activities.
• Balance scope, schedule, quality, cost, and risk while driving execution.
• Coordinate Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Scientific, Quality, Regulatory, Product Management, Manufacturing, Operations, Marketing, and Service teams.
• Establish governance, reporting, risk management, and escalation mechanisms.
• Promote project management best practices and contribute to process improvement, portfolio management, and PMO initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in product development environments.
• Proven experience managing software development and complex multidisciplinary product development projects.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, including budgets, schedules, risks, and stakeholder communications.
• Strong leadership, influencing, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills are required.

Nice to have

• PMP or CAPM certification.
• Experience with Agile, hybrid, and predictive development methodologies.
• Experience leading projects involving both software and hardware development.
