Location: Blythewood, South Carolina, United States; daily onsite attendance required
Salary: $25.12β$31.97 per hour, plus an additional $0.75 per hour after six months. Full-time, non-exempt position with a 40-hour schedule and eligibility for overtime and an annual performance bonus.

What you will do
- Perform dimensional inspections of parts, assemblies, and fixtures using standard metrology equipment and established measurement methods.
- Execute measurement programs and inspection plans, then accurately collect, document, and report dimensional data.
- Read engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements to verify that parts meet design intent.
- Support calibration, verification, maintenance, measurement system validation, capability studies, and Gage R&R activities.
- Assist with troubleshooting dimensional issues and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
- Support production operations, new product launches, and continuous improvement of quality and measurement processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in metrology, quality inspection, manufacturing, or a related technical environment.
- Hands-on experience with dimensional measurement equipment such as CMMs, portable measuring arms, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, scanners, or laser measurement systems.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Good understanding of GD&T and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with calibration practices, measurement data reporting, and Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, teamwork, and cross-functional communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in automotive, electric vehicle, or high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Exposure to PolyWorks, ZEISS INSPECT, or similar metrology software.
- Familiarity with SPC, Gage R&R, and other quality tools.
- Technical certification, associate degree, or vocational training in manufacturing, quality, metrology, or a related field.
