Ancillary Systems Engineering Lead

What you will do

• Own the integrated design and delivery of Alpha’s ancillary systems and interconnecting infrastructure.
• Lead system-level integration across tritium fuel cycle, high-voltage electrical power, heating, cryogenic and non-cryogenic cooling, and wastewater treatment.
• Manage interfaces, budgets, design trade-offs, external contractors, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
• Modernize facility development through advanced process engineering, BIM, and 4D assembly planning.
• Define safety logic and lead installation, commissioning, and maintenance strategies.

Requirements

• Proven ownership of major projects from design through construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Hands-on experience delivering complex plant engineering or industrial facilities, such as manufacturing sites, data centers, refineries, chemical plants, or industrial gas production.
• Strong technical and design judgment for complex facility integration, beyond delivery management.
• Ability to balance multidisciplinary inputs, resolve critical trade-offs, and lead large internal and external work packages.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving, high-growth environment with a pragmatic execution mindset.
