Deployed Strategist (AI)

Location: Hybrid offices in Union Square, New York City; San Francisco; and San José, with deployment at customer sites up to 2–3 days per week. Travel for customer engagements may reach 50%; relocation stipend provided.

Salary: $150,000–$210,000 per year plus equity.

What you will do

• Run process discovery with customers and break down complex, ambiguous, cross-system problems.
• Translate customer needs into requirements and drive solutions through production on the Tessera platform.
• Partner with GTM on technical boundaries, sales engagements, and Statements of Work.
• Drive customer adoption from pilot through full production with cross-functional partners.
• Bring field insights to Product and Engineering to influence the product roadmap.
• Lead on-site customer training and workshops while identifying new automation opportunities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a high-ownership, customer-facing role such as Deployed Strategist, Technical Consultant, Solutions or Sales Engineer, Product Manager, or Solution Architect.
• Technical fluency in data and Python is required.
• Ability to reason about software systems, read architecture, and collaborate with engineers and technical customer leads.
• Experience taking ambiguous, high-stakes problems from zero to delivered outcomes.
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous, fast-moving deployments.
