What you will do

• Define and own reliability strategies for hardware products containing complex PCBAs and electromechanical systems.
• Plan and execute HALT, thermal cycling, vibration, drop, humidity, ingress protection, and power-cycling tests.
• Define design-for-reliability requirements, investigate test failures, and drive root cause analysis with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Develop accelerated life-test models, support FMEA and DFMEA, and establish reliability gates across A/B/C/D program stages.
• Analyze reliability data using Weibull, log-normal, and other statistical models to predict field performance and guide product decisions.
• Support failure analysis, improve laboratory capabilities and test methodologies, and document findings in technical reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in hardware reliability engineering, preferably in energy, EV, consumer electronics, or aerospace.
• Deep knowledge of electronic and mechanical failure mechanisms, including solder fatigue, corrosion, delamination, sealing failures, thermal expansion mismatch, and material fatigue.
• Proficiency with statistical analysis tools such as Minitab, JMP, or Python.
• Experience with reliability laboratory equipment, test setup design, warranty analysis, and reliability prediction methods.
• Working knowledge of optical microscopy, SEM, CSAM, X-ray, cross-sectioning, and EDX failure-analysis techniques.
