Senior Manager - Full Stack Engineering

Salary: $136,885.10–$210,000.00 annually, plus bonus and/or commission eligibility

What you will do

• Provide technical and people leadership to a multi-level full stack engineering team in subrogation.
• Own end-to-end technical product and solution design for scalable web applications and APIs.
• Set standards for software development, deployment, architecture, security, performance, and scalability.
• Partner with product managers, UX designers, business stakeholders, engineering, and sales teams to define goals and outcomes.
• Coordinate delivery of engineering initiatives, including timelines, deliverables, estimation, prioritization, escalation, and stakeholder communication.
• Build, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years managing engineering teams.
• Deep full stack development experience across frontend, backend APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• Expertise in technical architecture and solution design for web applications and SaaS products.
• Proficiency with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, S3, and IAM, as well as serverless architectures.
• Strong experience with React, TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, Node, database design and optimization, CI/CD, automation testing, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience managing teams through subordinate supervisors or directly, with responsibility for results, costs, methods, and staffing.

• Financial services experience, especially in banking or insurance.
• Experience managing teams of 10+ engineers.
• Experience with microservices, microfrontends, customer-facing product development, production performance optimization, and scalability challenges.
