Campus Project Controls Manager

Location: San Francisco, CA, US; on-site

Salary: $155,000–$218,000 per year, plus Restricted Stock Units

What you will do

• Manage and report construction budgets and costs for large-scale infrastructure and data center projects.
• Develop cash flow forecasts, monthly cost reports, variance analyses, and financial recommendations.
• Monitor cost and schedule health, identifying risks, trends, and opportunities early.
• Lead change and risk management processes with construction managers, general contractors, and vendors.
• Review contractor pay applications against contract terms, approved scope, and earned value.
• Maintain compliance across contracts, purchase orders, and invoices while supporting audit readiness and internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related technical discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in project controls and construction cost management for complex infrastructure or data center projects.
• Experience managing construction budgets for multi-billion-dollar projects or campuses.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, including forecasting, cash flow reporting, and accrual analysis.
• Experience with change and risk management, contractor pay application reviews, and contract, purchase order, and invoice compliance.
• Ability to communicate project status, risks, and recommendations clearly to leadership and clients.
