Senior Manager, Construction

Location: Must be located in Dallas, TX, United States; onsite role. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. H-1B visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $115,000–$140,000 annually, adjusted based on experience and location.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop Construction Specialists and Senior Construction Specialists across supported markets.
• Own operational performance for renovation, turn, and capital improvement programs, ensuring safe, timely, cost-controlled, and high-quality delivery.
• Establish KPIs, standardized processes, playbooks, quality controls, and data-driven operating practices.
• Build the contractor network with Vendor Management through onboarding, performance management, capacity planning, and strategic sourcing.
• Partner with Property Management, Field Operations, Asset Management, Product, Engineering, Finance, and People Operations to improve construction operations.
• Champion automation and AI-enabled workflows, manage budgets, resolve escalated issues, and represent Construction in executive reviews.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in residential construction, renovations, property maintenance, or a related field.
• 5+ years leading managers, supervisors, or high-performing operational teams in a multi-market environment.
• Experience with residential construction practices, estimating, scopes of work, contractor management, and project lifecycles.
• Experience developing operational processes, leading change management, and driving continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, budgeting, and resource allocation skills.
• Proven ability to develop leaders and build accountable, high-performing teams.
