Senior Product Manager (Quantum Software)

Location: Cambridge, UK; hybrid

Salary: £68,000–£84,000 per year, depending on experience

What you will do

• Engage with users, partners, and the open-source community to gather product insight and feedback.
• Analyse product usage, developer behaviour, and the wider ecosystem to inform priorities.
• Define and communicate Deltakit’s product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Prioritise features and improvements to increase developer adoption and engagement.
• Align engineering, research, business development, and marketing teams while guiding product and technical trade-offs.
• Support launches, go-to-market activities, documentation, onboarding, and community growth.

Requirements

• Experience in a B2B product role or a closely related position with ownership of product direction and prioritisation.
• Experience working in a deep-tech environment with complex, evolving problems.
• A degree in engineering or science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Technical depth sufficient to understand product capabilities, limitations, and real-world usage.
• Strong strategic thinking, critical thinking, active listening, creative problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, influence without authority, and adapt direction in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience working on open-source software products.
• Experience building software products that interface with hardware.
• Experience shipping developer tools such as SDKs, libraries, APIs, or CLIs.
• Exposure to quantum computing.
