Group Product Manager - Quantum Networking (Quantum Networking)

Location: Based at the Bothell, Washington office, with the option to work remotely a few days per week. Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

Salary: $145,920–$191,047 annual base salary, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the multi-year product roadmap for quantum networking and devices, prioritizing entanglement generation, quantum repeaters, and control-plane capabilities.
• Identify market opportunities, align product strategy with customer needs, support sales engagements, and contribute to launches and partnerships.
• Lead execution across hardware, software, research, and go-to-market teams, translating physics-layer capabilities into product specifications and milestones.
• Define how customers discover, schedule, and consume quantum networking primitives through cloud and SaaS APIs.
• Represent quantum networking products with customers and partners, including national labs, government sponsors, hyperscalers, and enterprise design partners.
• Own relevant budgeting, present progress to executives and external audiences, and establish product evaluation frameworks.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience with technical, hardware-adjacent, or research-driven products.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in physics, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
• Working fluency in quantum optics and/or photonics, including ion–photon interfaces, entanglement protocols, photonic components, and detector physics.
• Strong knowledge of classical networking, including protocols, architecture, control planes, time synchronization, latency, scheduling, and reliability.
• Demonstrated experience shipping cloud or API products at scale.
• U.S. person status or applicable export-control authorization may be required for access to controlled technology and government-contract work.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in physics, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience with quantum repeaters, quantum memories, QKD systems, or matter-qubit modalities.
• Experience with U.S. government and defense customers.
• Involvement in relevant quantum networking standards bodies.
