Technical Programme Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Plan and manage complex, multi-team, multi-month technical programmes, including milestones and success criteria.
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering departments and communicate schedules, priorities, and progress across the company.
• Identify alignment gaps, reduce delivery overhead, and ensure programme outcomes support product objectives.
• Use technical understanding of the product and software development lifecycle to drive programmes forward.
• Develop tools and optimise processes to improve engineering productivity and efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing cross-functional technical initiatives in a top-tier technology company.
• Understanding of modern microservice-based technology stacks, including Kubernetes, Kafka, AWS or GCP, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of the full software development lifecycle across product management, engineering, testing, and operations.
• Strong focus on quality, reliability, product value, and timely delivery.
• Ability to lead large multidisciplinary efforts autonomously and solve complex problems.
• Excellent organisational, written, presentation, and stakeholder relationship skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge or experience in retail banking.
• Previous experience as a software engineer, infrastructure engineer, or in another technical role.
