Technical Program Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects and programs across product and engineering teams.
• Track scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, dependencies, risks, and success metrics.
• Coordinate Engineering, Product, Compliance, Risk, Security, Operations, external partners, financial institutions, and technology vendors.
• Facilitate technical and business discussions, document decisions, and provide executive communications.
• Establish governance processes and monitor program performance using KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics.
• Support production deployments, release cycles, change management, breaking changes, and related communications.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in Technical Program Management or Technical Project Management.
• At least 2 years supporting fintech initiatives such as banking, payments, trading, or other financial services.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Experience managing large-scale technical projects involving distributed systems, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance frameworks, including KYC, AML, Customer Risk Rating, and watchlists.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills; familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Asana, or similar tools and a relevant bachelor's degree.

Nice to have

• Experience with embedded finance, financial APIs, crypto, trading, or brokerages.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of data security, fraud prevention, and risk management.
• PMP, PgMP, Scrum Master, SAFe, or Agile certification.
• Experience in high-growth startups or fast-paced fintech environments.
