Senior Mobile Engineering Manager

Location: Palo Alto, California, United States; hybrid work with in-office collaboration and remote work

Salary: $240,000–$270,000 base salary per year

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a mobile engineering organization of 10+ engineers.
• Deliver high-quality mobile experiences for consumer fintech and marketplace products.
• Define mobile architecture, platform direction, technical standards, and long-term engineering strategy.
• Guide the transition toward a product-pod operating model while maintaining centralized mobile engineering discipline.
• Partner with Product, Design, Data, backend, infrastructure, and web engineering leaders on technical vision and roadmap priorities.
• Drive engineering excellence across code quality, testing, CI/CD, observability, and AI-assisted development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering management experience leading high-performing mobile engineering teams.
• Deep experience with native and cross-platform mobile frameworks and mobile architecture at scale.
• Experience building consumer mobile products, preferably in fintech, marketplaces, or other high-growth technology companies.
• Experience scaling engineering organizations through technical and organizational change.
• Strong technical leadership, systems thinking, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of mobile performance, offline capabilities, network efficiency, automation, and agentic engineering workflows.
