Senior InfoSec Tools Engineer

Location: Reston, Virginia, United States; hybrid work schedule with regular office presence

Salary: $135,800–$183,800 annual base salary, plus potential discretionary bonus and stock awards depending on eligibility.

What you will do

• Deploy, configure, maintain, optimize, and integrate enterprise information security tools.
• Own assigned security platforms and manage upgrades, migrations, patching, capacity planning, and decommissioning.
• Develop automation and engineering solutions to reduce manual security operations work.
• Partner with security operations to align tools with operational workflows.
• Define tooling metrics, KPIs, and maturity roadmaps.
• Monitor and maintain security tools according to security best practices and participate in change management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of technical information security experience, including 5+ years in network security.
• Experience deploying and maintaining enterprise security platforms such as SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, cloud security, and security orchestration and automation tools.
• Strong scripting and automation skills with Python, including experience building workflows, integrations, or tooling for security operations.
• Experience administering Windows and Linux servers.
