Endpoint Automation Staff Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Administer, maintain, and optimize EDR/XDR, device control, and endpoint management platforms.
• Design and maintain security automation workflows for detection, response, remediation, and operational efficiency.
• Create and support automation tools and scripts using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Monitor endpoint alerts and collaborate with Security Operations during investigations and incident response.
• Implement endpoint hardening standards across Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile platforms.
• Integrate endpoint tooling with SIEM, ticketing, orchestration, and monitoring platforms while supporting audits and cloud security initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, endpoint engineering, systems administration, or security automation.
• Experience administering endpoint security platforms and using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
• Knowledge of endpoint security, threat detection, malware defense, incident response, Windows, Linux, and enterprise endpoint management.
• Experience with SIEM or security monitoring platforms and vulnerability remediation processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud security technologies.
• Experience integrating APIs and security tooling.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, and identity security concepts.
• Experience with Ansible, SCCM, Intune, Jamf, or Puppet.
