Senior Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: New York, NY 10022, United States; onsite or hybrid. Working hours are 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with 24/7 on-call support for critical incidents.

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per year, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Analyze client security needs, market trends, and business requirements to design customized cybersecurity solutions.
• Provide technical consulting, security recommendations, assessments, and tailored security architectures.
• Manage pre-sales and post-sales technical projects with vendors, subcontractors, internal teams, and customers.
• Build, operate, and improve log analysis, endpoint security, network security, and other security technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex security issues across servers, networks, telephony, and customer environments.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers, maintain technical documentation, and prepare cybersecurity proposals and quotations.

Requirements

• Client-facing consulting mindset and the ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously.
• Experience with server and PC security solutions, SASE, EDR, vulnerability assessment tools, and MSP/MSSP operations.
• Knowledge of secure configuration standards such as CIS Benchmarks.
• Experience with Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, Unix/Linux, Windows Server, virtualization, and storage systems.
• Knowledge of Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, LAN, and WAN technologies.
• Japanese and English bilingual communication skills required.
