Location: Auckland, New Zealand; onsite work in a New Zealand office

builds rockets, spacecraft, and critical aerospace subsystems, including the Electron launch vehicle.
What you will do
- Install avionics and mechanical components on Electron launch vehicles.
- Install wiring harnesses and high-voltage batteries.
- Perform precision assembly, crimping, soldering, and harness termination.
- Build, launch, and test launch vehicles or their components using tools, equipment, and facilities.
- Inspect and manufacture components to high workmanship standards while supporting production and launch schedules.
Requirements
- Trade qualification in a relevant industry.
- 4+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience with precision avionics and mechanical assembly.
- Ability to perform high-precision crimping, soldering, and harness termination.
- Ability to work to exacting standards, including cleanliness requirements for oxygen service.
- Understanding of standard industry ESD practices, strong eyesight, and ability to inspect and manufacture high-quality assemblies.

- Ability to read and follow manufacturing instructions and drawings.
