What you will do

• Lead day-to-day field execution for mechanical and cooling-system installation on a new data center build.
• Supervise chilled water plants, air and liquid cooling systems, CRAH/CDU equipment, heat rejection, piping, insulation, flushing, pressure testing, and cleanliness protocols.
• Own hydronic installation and balancing, verifying flow, pressure, and temperature performance against design requirements.
• Coordinate receiving, storage, preservation, offloading, and rigging of chillers, CRAHs, CDUs, pumps, and cooling towers.
• Sequence mechanical trades across white space, galleries, and mechanical yards, using BIM coordination with electrical and controls trades to resolve clashes.
• Drive installation checklists, commissioning prerequisites, safety enforcement, quality control, RFIs, progress reporting, test records, and as-built documentation through turnover.

Requirements

• 7+ years supervising mechanical trades on data center, semiconductor, hospital, or heavy industrial projects; mission-critical experience is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of chilled water plants, air and liquid cooling systems, hydronic distribution, testing, and startup practices.
• Experience driving Level 1–5 commissioning prerequisites and turnover documentation within an active commissioning program.
• Strong trade-sequencing, look-ahead planning, and manpower-loading skills in congested, schedule-critical spaces.
• Safety leadership covering rigging, lifting, pressure testing, and confined-space operations; OSHA 30 is preferred.
• Procore/ACC, BIM field use, mechanical drawing packages, daily reporting, QC records, and test documentation experience.
