What you will do

• Build up powertrain systems mechanically and electrically for test benches and vehicle prototypes.
• Coordinate powertrain buildup across internal teams, external partners, and suppliers.
• Plan, monitor, and steer buildup activities, timing, and project deliverables.
• Resolve release, operational, coordination, and technical issues related to powertrain buildup.
• Define mechanical and electrical buildup tools and align interfaces with relevant partners.
• Report changes, risks, responsibility gaps, and unresolved conflicts to management while proposing alternative solutions.

Requirements

• Background in automotive engineering and electric vehicles.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
• Automotive engineering experience and CAD skills.
• Master's degree or PhD.
• Ability to work at the Santa Clara, CA facility.
• Self-directed, lean working style and flexibility for unexpected tasks.
