Vice President, Apps (AI)

Location: Palo Alto, California, United States of America

Salary: $320,000–$350,000 USD annually, plus potential bonus and/or equity for candidates in the United States.

What you will do

• Lead the global engineering organization responsible for customer-facing hirify.global applications, services, and software solutions.
• Drive an AI-native software development lifecycle using AI agents for coding, testing, verification, and workflow orchestration.
• Build and develop high-performing software engineering teams and senior engineering leaders.
• Establish a platform engineering producer–consumer model with self-service access to shared developer experience, data, infrastructure, and software services.
• Oversee application development, feature delivery, platform consumption, monitoring, debugging, patching, and operational compliance.
• Partner with product managers and senior executives to deliver AI-enabled customer experiences and measurable business value.

Requirements

• Current or prior software engineering experience at the VP level within an established technology company.
• 15+ years of relevant engineering experience, including 8+ years in senior people management.
• Experience leading global software engineering teams serving multiple internal customers, millions of users, or $100M+ businesses.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and AI-native software development practices.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; Ph.D. preferred.
• Exceptional executive communication, collaboration, organizational leadership, and engineering execution skills.
