Technical Recruiter (Robotics AI)

Location: On-site in Watertown, Massachusetts, United States

AI software company developing and deploying intelligent robotics on state-of-the-art hardware for factories and warehouses.

What you will do

• Own the full recruiting lifecycle for engineering and research roles, including sourcing, screening, coordination, and closing.
• Build and maintain deep pipelines for hard-to-fill technical positions, with an emphasis on outbound sourcing and passive candidates.
• Partner with engineering and research leadership to define role requirements, team dynamics, and technical fit.
• Represent the company’s culture and mission throughout the candidate experience.
• Maintain recruiting data, reporting, and ATS records in Lever.
• Coordinate with the People Ops Manager on the transition from offer acceptance through the new hire’s first day.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience.
• Exposure to software engineering, hardware, or research recruiting.
• Ability to source and engage passive candidates who are not actively looking.
• Technical literacy sufficient for meaningful conversations with engineers and researchers.
• Strong relationship-building, organization, and process-management skills.
• Familiarity with ATS platforms, especially Lever.

Nice to have

• Recruiting experience at an early-stage Series A–C startup.
• Background recruiting for robotics, computer vision, ML/AI, or hardware-focused companies.
• Experience recruiting across software, hardware, and research disciplines simultaneously.
• A network in Boston or Cambridge engineering and research communities.
• Ability to evaluate technical depth without a formal engineering background.
