Facilities and Maintenance Electrician

Location: On-site in Devens, Massachusetts, with occasional work in Somerville, Massachusetts

Salary: $30–$48 per hour, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and manufacturing equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machining centers, process ovens, and specialty equipment.
• Support the installation, relocation, and modification of manufacturing equipment.
• Track maintenance and repairs using a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
• Help develop maintenance procedures and schedules.

Requirements

• High school diploma, equivalency certificate, or higher.
• Massachusetts Journeyman or Master Electricians license.
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
• At least 7 years of experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and complex manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read and understand technical and electrical drawings, manuals, and reports, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work on-site, occasionally travel or work nights, weekends, and on-call shifts, and safely perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• Experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, and Total Productive Maintenance principles.
• Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
