Electrical Engineer (Aerospace & Defense)

Location: Torrance, California, United States; onsite. Open to relocation within the United States. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card holders).

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 base salary per year plus equity

What you will do

• Design electrical systems, define product requirements, select components, perform analysis, and create schematics and documentation.
• Use Altium to design PCB layouts according to product requirements.
• Develop work-instruction packages for manufacturing and testing circuit card assemblies.
• Evaluate and select instrumentation for temperature, pressure, position, and other measurements.
• Review test data and recommend product and process changes.
• Support team growth by interviewing engineering candidates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or another engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of electrical hardware design experience, including schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Strong knowledge of circuit design fundamentals and electrical engineering principles.
• Familiarity with power supplies, oscilloscopes, DMMs, signal generators, soldering irons, and other basic electronics lab equipment.
• Experience creating design verification test plans and executing tests.
• U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residency is required to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
