Electrical Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Hybrid in Tukwila, Washington; willingness to work from Tukwila is required

Salary: $100,000–$180,000 per year plus 0.01%–0.05% equity

hirify.global develops satellite servicing missions using the Otter servicing vehicle and Nautilus capture mechanism.

What you will do

• Design electrical schematics and PCB layouts for satellite servicing hardware.
• Support production and refinement of electrical and electromechanical systems.
• Build and manufacture hardware prototypes.
• Apply system design skills to autonomous robotic operations in orbit.
• Develop hardware for satellite capture, servicing, life extension, and disposal missions.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with circuit design and analysis software.
• B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Proficiency in electrical circuit theory and electrical manufacturing processes.
• Must be a US person due to ITAR regulations, such as a US citizen, lawful permanent resident, or other protected individual.
• Must be willing to work from Tukwila, Washington.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with hardware and software integration.
• Familiarity with hardware for space applications.
