  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and at least 10 years of electrical engineering experience.
  • Demonstrated spacecraft flight heritage designing, building, and delivering electronic hardware that has operated on orbit.
  • Advanced PCB and PCBA design experience with Altium Designer or equivalent ECAD tools.
  • Experience with embedded firmware development, hardware/firmware co-design, and system-level avionics architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of RS-422/RS-485, SPI, I2C, SpaceWire, and Ethernet communication interfaces.
  • Ability to maintain or obtain TS//SCI clearance and meet U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • FPGA SoC development with VHDL or Verilog.
  • Radiation-tolerant design, COTS radiation-effects mitigation, and spacecraft power or propulsion interface experience.
  • Knowledge of EEE-INST-002, GSFC-STD-7000, and MIL-STD-461.
